Cute pink card

Did it ever happen to you... that you see something you like and immediately idea comes "I will use it for scrapbooking!!!" and no matter if it is just digital image or picture from pencils cover or paper from candies or eBay envelope.... "I need to do it!" you say XD I started noticing it more and more :P

But lets return to main topic. I keep making satin ribbon flowers like crazy (I already don't remember how many of them I did for our wedding but since than making just one flower doesn't take any time). And for the first time in my life I used those needles (somebody plz tell me if it is dangerous or not... I am still afraid if somebody will cut himself >.< )


I took image from this artist but as it is for personal use (actually, for my sister), she shouldn't mind (though still I will let her know, as a good girl)

Another postcard I finally finished...

Base is double-side orange paper (I think about 150g), magnolia stamp by aquarel (water color) pencils, some decorations, handmade crep paper (hmm....papel crepe) flower and tiny paper ribbons (I bought them for quilling but they are too messsssssy for it).

That nice sketch I took from Homyachok Scrap Challenge and here it is:

I am in love with this humster *_* BTW challenge ends on 25, March and all you need is following sketch + using a charm there. Though if you will have some problems with russian there you can ask me more :p

Also I would like to use this postcard for Ideas Time Challenge - Handmade flower (until 10 of March)

I already sent one work there but... let it be one more ;)

UPD: This postcard is already taken by my husband - orange juice (Cepita) fan (and I will get threads of 24 colors for that.....yay!!!).

For Beautiful-Places-Makers!

To start with, I found beautiful blog Ginger's House and I am very happy with it!
So many phrases to tell to different people (and to myself - go check about cleaning room!) :p
And I choose one of them to start creating process...........well, here we go :)

I did it for challenge Sketch from OUR HOBBY (until 8 of March) :

Though to be 100% honest I didn't find and read complete rules (hope they won't hit me) but I turned it on 90º and phrase should be a little bit smaller I like it as it is!!!

Also I will use it for Happy Crafting Challenge "Gifting flowers to women" (until 8 of March) that needs one hand-made flower on project :

As for details, I was totally missing some leaves or cardstock decoration for flower (but no green here, plz) and had to remember how to use scissors :p Also I put white lace on red satin ribbon for the first time in my life and guess I will keep using this tip for white lace picture to be seen, than made flower with another lace, red button (I call them "mushroom type" if they ever had another name) and golden beads.

UPD: from today I am happy owner of heart-flowers charms - they finally arrived! yay!

Time to go and make a list of people that can "make a place beautiful" =)

But before...I have to finish 2nd post ;)

Родители мужа уехали в отпуск, попросили присмотреть за домом, за цветочками и за собакой. Рядом со списком "Не забудьте сделать:..............." лежала кучка с ленточками и кружевами и P.S. "это остатки, надеюсь пригодятся для открыток"
Ооооооо... такие остатки уж точно пригодятся =)
Решила сделать приятный сюрприз в виде открытки "С возвращением домой!" (конечно же с использованием подаренного)

Материалы: кружева, ленточка, синельная веточка-нить, бусинки...очень так по-домашнему =)
Открытка еще не подарена, поэтому описание на русском))))

Some spring for my autumn

Несмотря на то, что сегодня первый день осени, душа по привычке кричит "Весна!" Как бы намекнуть ей, что пора довязывать свитер и искать ботинки потеплее?

В очередной раз прибиралась на столе (на моем уютном балконе) с проверкой, что и где доделать надо, там цветочек приклеить, где-то надпись подобрать, лежит и ждет своего часа (а уж новогодние недоделки сколько ждут), но не будем о печальном =)

С наступлением весны! Хочу еще поздравить маму, но наверно почтой вышлю:

может оно и не логично, но цветочки-сухоцветы теперь пахнут жасмином =) за это я и люблю сухоцветы - стойко держат парфюм :р
